As the Agency Licensing and Project Coordinator at Millers Mutual, you’ll become part of a passionate team that values humility, company-wide leadership, and trust. In line with our lead from anywhere philosophy, you’ll be expected to execute our streamlined licensing and appointment process for Millers Mutual and our inhouse brokerage, Riverside. This includes handling requests, executing administrative tasks, monitoring progress, and seeking information to ensure timely processing of agent, agency and/or adjuster licenses and applicable appointments. In addition, you’ll create comprehensive action plans and timeframes for various sales projects and coordinate scheduling resources. Furthermore, we ask that you prioritize providing prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional services to our agents and fellow employees.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support agent, agency and adjuster licensing by following established licensing processes, facilitating and tracking continuing education and escalating issues to ensure compliance with changing licensing requirements
  • Perform appointment and licensing processing by following established guidelines to accurately enter and manage data and monitor and track the progress of agent, agency and/or adjuster licenses and applicable appointments
  • Adhere to regulatory changes to ensure appointment and license processes are current and comply with regulations
  • Build strong customer relationships by proactively seeking information and providing recommendations to agents, agencies and/or adjusters to ensure timely and efficient licensing and appointment processing as applicable
  • Coordinate agent licenses and appointments
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with customers to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Regularly work with compliance staff to monitor and enact state laws relevant to licensing and appointments
  • Compile and complete weekly compliance reports

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management System (CRM)
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Strong computer knowledge and math skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong ethics and values
  • Strong time management skills
  • Previous licensing and appointment experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must possess a valid clean Driver’s License
